So about two years ago, I got pulled over and was slapped with a fix-it ticket. One of my headlights burned out. This, incidentally, was the very day after the ceiling collapsing in my place in Long Beach. The headlight must have burned out the very day I made the mistake of driving down Lincoln on one such occasion where cops were actively camped out and pulling people over for shit such as that, or registration, what-have-you.
I had a conversation with said cop about my living situation and what kind of trouble I'd be in for breaking my lease if I didn't want to live in a place where feral cats fuck loudly under my floorboards, my tweeker
